LaMotte Soil Analysis Kit tests for nitrate nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, aluminum, sulfates, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate, nitrogen, chlorides, ferric iron, calcium, humus, and pH. Contains solutions and equipment for 50 tests for each element and 100 tests for pH. Results: ppm. Major element qualitative tests can be performed on green plant tissue for nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium.
Kit comes with a case and includes complete instructions, a soil management handbook and a pad of soil analysis report forms. The LaMotte Soil Handbook is a 60-page "growers' manual" that discusses major and minor nutrients, trace elements, soil pH, organic matter, soil texture, etc. The LaMotte soil handbook also includes lime and fertilzer recommendations for a variety of crops and plants.
