An alternative for measuring vacuum levels applied in the Rice Specific Gravity test, GLVP-5 is subjected to a 10-point calibration. It is mercury-free and uses an absolute pressure transducer for an instantaous digital display of applied vacuum from 0 to 1000mm Hg. Resolution is 0.1mm with an accuracy of ±0.5%.
Model GLVP-5 is the same as GLVP-2, but with an included NIST traceable calibration. The gauge uses a 9V battery, or it can be permanently mounted with use of the 110V AC adapter (included).
